MHC COUNSELORS

HEAD COUNSELOR

​

Tanner is from Delano, MN, where he played youth through high school hockey. Tanner played the majority of his junior career for the Swan Valley Stampeders in the MJHL. He is currently playing NCAA hockey at Post University in Waterbury, CT, where he is studying business admin with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

 

This will be Tanners 5th summer

here at MHC! He loves being

outdoors, whether that’s hunting,

fishing, or just going for a hike.

HEAD COUNSELOR

Danny is from St. Cloud, MN, and played his high school hockey at Apollo High School. From there, Danny moved on to play 3 years of junior hockey for the Breezy Point North Stars in the NA3HL. He then continued his education and hockey career at St. Johns University (NCAA) and graduated with a degree in Mathematics.

 

Danny is currently in his 2nd full professional season with the Binghamton Black Bears in the FPHL and this is his 2nd summer at MHC!

Aiden grew up playing youth hockey through high school in Detroit Lakes, MN. Currently, he is playing junior hockey for the Great Falls Americans in the NA3HL with the hope of playing NCAA college hockey.

 

This will be Aiden's 3rd summer at MHC! Outside of hockey, Aiden likes to spend his time outdoors golfing, fishing, or just taking his dog for a run.

Joe was born and raised here in the lakes area. He played his youth, high school, and even most of his junior hockey here in Breezy Point for the North Stars and the Minnesota Loons in the NA3HL. Joe is currently playing NCAA Division 3 hockey at Salem State University while also studying for a degree in History.

 

Joe grew up coming to MHC as a camper every summer and now this is his 5th year as a counselor.

HEAD COUNSELOR

Ansen is from Copenhagen, Denmark. He started playing hockey when he was 3 years old, representing Team Denmark in the 2020 Youth Olympics. He graduated from Culver Academy, where he played hockey for 3 years. Ansen just finished playing a season with the Minnesota Wilderness in the NA3HL.

 

This is his 5th season working at MHC, he is excited to work with all the young players to help them become the best players they can be.

HEAD COUNSELOR

Jack is from River Forest, Illinois and he spent his youth playing AAA hockey, primarily for Selects Academy. He spent his junior hockey career playing two seasons for the New Mexico Ice Wolves in the NAHL, serving as captain his second season. Jack then committed to play at the University of Maine (NCAA) for two seasons. He will be transferring to Bentley University (NCAA) in the Fall to continue his education and hockey career. This is Jack's 3rd summer at MHC!

JUNIOR COUNSELOR

Oliver lives in Zurich, Switzerland and has been playing hockey there since the age of 6. The past seasons he has been playing for the Zurich Lions Team and HC Ambrí-Piotta.

 

Oliver attended MHC as a camper for two years and this will be his 2nd summer as a counselor. He has a strong passion for hockey and teaching young kids what he has learned over the years here at camp!

JUNIOR COUNSELOR

Oden is from Missoula, Montana and is currently playing at Culver Academy in Indiana. He came to MHC for two years as a camper and this will now be his 2nd summer as a counselor! His favorite part about MHC is the access to resources that the players have for getting better. Whether that be the gym, outdoor turf, or the shooting range, there is always something to do to improve your game!
