When you train with the pros, it shows.
Scott Hartnell, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, entered the NHL in 2000 after being drafted sixth overall by the Nashville Predators. After six seasons with the Predators, Hartnell was traded to his current team, the Philadelphia Flyers, in 2007.
Hartnell attributes some of his success in hockey to the training he receives every summer at Minnesota Hockey Camps. He first attended camp in 2006 and continues to return every year to hone his skills and keep in shape during the offseason.
"As an NHL player, I realize the importance of being at my best both physically and mentally," he said. "MHC has helped me improve strength, conditioning and game performance. I have spent many summers at MHC and plan on spending more."
During the offseason, professional hockey players have trained at Minnesota Hockey Camps for more than 30 years. These players include:
T.J. Oshie, Chris Stewart, Tony Granato, Ryan Malone, Derek Stepan, Paul Stastny and many more!
