U.S.H.L. DRAFT - MHC would like to wish the best of luck to the following players who were drafted in yesterdays USHL draft. The 13th overall pick, Andrew Miller to the Chicago Steel. The 29th pick, Hunter Bishop to the Lincoln Stars. The 111th pick, Reed Rushing to the Green Bay Gamblers. And the 151st pick, Joey Brehm to the Sioux Falls Stampede.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Sioux Falls Stampede for winning the 2007 Clark Cup (USHL)!  Campers Brad Malone & Drew Fisher are members of the championship team each scoring a goal in the championship game

Congratulations to all who participated in Minnesota High School Hockey Tournament and Season!  Below are a few of our campers in action:

Tom Payne and TJ Poganski in the Section Finals (Duluth-Marshal vs. Cathedral High School)

Ellen Swiontkowski with her Breck Teammates that won their section and were consolation champs of A State Tournament! 

John Stompahar during the national anthem for Hibbing vs. Hermantown Sectional Finals.

 

John Curry won the Eberly Award as well as the Tournament MVP in this years Bean Pot Championships!!  John has been coming to the camp for years!

MHC would like to congratulate the following teams from Mosinee, Wisconsin who have all advanced to the Wisconsin State Tournament. The Mite A, Squirt A & B and the Bantam A teams on the boys side. The U10, U12 and U14 teams on the girls side have also advanced to the state tournament. Last October MHC put on an outreach clinic in Mosinee and each team has continued the training on their own throughout the season. GOOD LUCK to all the teams!!

Ryan Malone, Pittsburgh Penguins, scores a career high 4 points on Dec. 13th vs. the Flyers (1+3) and earned The "Third Star" spot on NHL.com. He added to that last night (12/15) against the Islanders, with a hat-trick. (12/15/06)
